Dear Partners,
It gives me immense pleasures when I see our company taking initiatives to improve the land, soil and our produce for global human consumption combining our fertilizer, agricultural, industrial, commercial farming and research activities relevant to Agri business under one umbrella, “United Framers Trust Limited”. There is no doubt that the journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, as the Chinese proverb says. To develop our present, it is necessary to adopt a clear vision for our future. In the past, our beginnings were so modest, but today we have a variety of activities based on a solid foundation applying the latest management and technology systems in the fertilizer we market and distribute. Also, we look forward to not expanding locally and regionally only, but at all levels of the global agricultural solutions and widespread bearing in mind the values and principles that we grew up to them as our view of success is really measured by the satisfaction of our beloved farmers by meeting their aspirations and needs. The rapid development and active movement that occurs in the world towards fertilizer and agricultural field nowadays requires us to keep pace and interact quickly at the same time realistically without recklessness and leisurely without rush in order to achieve the desired goal in superior service, better work, visionary and prudent management, smooth deal, quick response and self-esteem. Our Company is fully aware of the challenges ahead in the shape of inflationary pressures, increasing mark-up rates, discontinuation of subsidy and significant depreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee. While meeting these challenges, our Company is well positioned for continued prosperity and growth and expect 2022 to bring improved benefits for all stakeholders. All that will make the objective of the establishment of the company is capable of achieving. Keeping this in mind, I would like to reassure our good will with our potential customers, companies and institutions who are wishing to build bridges of cooperation with us.

Our goal is to extend our contribution to ensure food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. The current global population is in increase and expected to reach unprecedented rates in the coming years. Much more effort and innovation will be urgently needed in order to sustainably increase the global agricultural production in 60-70 percent from the current levels to meet the high demand for foods. Many agricultural products are and will be needed to meet world demands, and increasing the amount of arable land is the logical answer to increase food production. Although, most of the virgin lands are not readily available for agriculture as the lack of fertilizers, biological, and infrastructure needs for crop species. UFT team believe strongly that we are on the right strategic path to fulfilling our duties because the economic growth and prosperity depend on sustainable food systems started from the manufacturing of the best fertilizers. From vision to reality, we have deployed a consistent thorough approach over the few years to maintain our products as a benchmark for our clients. Our fertilizer products have been formulated to achieve the highest yields in both quantity and quality. Accordingly, we are continually conducting new trials and studies to make our products simply the best by improvement and innovation to meet the international standards. Finally, looking ahead to have great confidence in the future of our company, as our company’s strategic initiatives, and our business philosophy are thanking our diligent and hardworking employees for continuing to provide the highest levels of service to our community and our clients.
