* Indian Air Force (IAF) deployed two largest C-17 Globemaster military transports aircraft to deliver Nano-Nitrogen fertilizer as the 2nd consignment to Sri Lanka from India (IFFCO), perhaps the largest single airlift carried out by a foreign Air Force to Sri Lanka. The first aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force arrived at the Katunayake Airport at 12.06 midnight with 44,730 kg of Nano nitrogen liquid fertilizer, while the second one with 44,773 kg of similar cargo, touched down at the Airport at 3.02 am.
